What is SuperCheck.in?
SuperCheck.in is a free, location-based community platform built around Tesla Supercharger check-ins. You log visits at stations, collect achievement badges for milestones, and follow friends to see their journeys on a simple feed. You choose what to share — private, friends-only, or public check-ins — so you stay in control of your story on the network.
Who built it?
I am Bram Luyten, a Belgium-based developer and EV driver. I started SuperCheck.in as a side project from a simple idea: it would be fun to know which Superchargers friends had visited, and to celebrate road trips with lightweight gamification instead of spreadsheets. The product is operated through my company Fundamento BV (VAT BE 0886 791 519, Gaston Geenslaan 14, 3001 Heverlee, Belgium). You can reach me at bram@supercheck.in or support hosting costs on Buy Me a Coffee.
Why Superchargers?
Long-distance EV travel often revolves around reliable fast charging. Supercharger stops become shared stories: first time at a V3 site, crossing a border, or meeting friends halfway. SuperCheck.in is meant to make those small moments visible to people you care about — without turning the app into another full-blown social network.
Where does the data come from?
Station locations and metadata come from Supercharge.info, the community-maintained open dataset for the Tesla Supercharger network. I am grateful for their work and sponsor the project annually where I can. SuperCheck.in would not exist without that data backbone.
Sustainability and Charity: Water
Driving more by electric vehicle and less by plane is part of how many of us think about lower-carbon travel. SuperCheck.in also encourages support for Charity: Water, bringing clean water to people who need it. Donations are optional and go directly to their campaigns.
